Obverse
A naked male athlete kneeling to the right on his right knee, holding the flaming Olympic torch in his left hand, with the legend:
CITIVS ALTIVS FORTIVS (or CITIUS ALTIUS FORTIUS) as the U and V can be interchanged in Latin.
In the exergue is the engravers name EMIL WIEDERKEHR
Reverse
The reverse features the five Olympic rings across the middle, with a sprig of laurel behind it, and a B (Bern) mintmark below. The legend reads:
